harbour bridge walk

Harbour bridge walk on Sunday 18th March (this sunday), roads will be closed off for the walk. This will be the first time in ___ years that they allow pedestrians on the bridge. If you want to take the walk, you must have been registered at www.ourbridge.com.au.

some dates for this month

-worlds greatest shave, for the leukemia foundation is on tomorrow (15-17) march

A tip for those who want to lose weight: keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water, around 2 litres a day. Doing so will also makes your skin look gorgeous.

Heres a fact I'm sure expectant mothers would prefer not knowing:
the average number of labour pains for first- time mothers are about 135.

bits and pieces from the paper 11/03/07

There is talk of a possible ban or levy of plastic bags. Personally i think its a good thing. Maybe itll convince shoppers to use enviro bags, or even better, bring their own straw baskets for shopping. But to prevent an increase in unemployment, maybe mass produce recycled paper bags?

Don't forget to turn lights off for an hour on March 31 at 7:30. Earth hour is a bid to cut carbon emissions.

A sydney church is offering quickie 10 min church services for our busy lives. I think its quite comical actually, its like from having proper health meals to fast food... applied to religion.

ladies under 27 will have access to cervical cancer vaccinations free of charge from the GP or community immunisation clinic. The program will commence in July.
